Class 4410: Management and Leadership
This assignment on critical thinking helped me identify that compassion is the starting point of critical thinking. The nurse must have the ability to be compassionate in work. Having the ability to focus on others, not self , takes great humility and compassion. To love someone else more than yourself and to devote your life to your patients like nurses and other healthcare professions do, demonstrates compassion.
Nursing 4310: Ethics Healthcare extends across lifespans and reaches from metropolitan to rural communities. This assignment exemplifies that nurses have to be prepared to think expediently and thoroughly to provide care in all situations. The nurse can not afford to be complacent.
Nursing 4330: Community Health Nursing
This assignment is a windshield survey of my metropolitan city where I work. This assignment was instrumental in having me look at a fragile population of people who need to know where their resources are in their immediate area. This assignment taught me to go on the city resources web site and look at all the programs offered for the community. By knowing this information, I will be better prepared to guide people in the right direction for assistance.
Domain 3: Population Health  Descriptor: “Population health spans the healthcare delivery continuum from public health prevention to disease management of populations and describes collaborative activities with both traditional and non-traditional partnerships from affected communities, public health, industry, academia, health care, local government entities, and others for the improvement of equitable population health outcomes” (AACN, 2021).
